Julia Williams is a candidate for Register of Wills in the September 14, 2010 primary in Prince Georges County, Maryland. Williams is a graduate of the University of Cincinatti, earning a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. She has also earned a Masters degree in Public Administration from Bowie State University.

Williams has been an educator for well over 15 years. She has also worked quite successfully as an exemplary mentor and tutor in the foster care system. Williams is an established public servant, committed to making Prince Georges County a better community for everyone.

Williams has pledged to increase awareness to make the Register of Wills office more visible in the Prince Georges County community. She is committed to solving problems for citizens in the caring tradition of the position of Register of Wills and to provide more assistance to judges as Clerk of the Orphan's Court to resolve issues as expeditiously as possible.
